Punggonl End
Went to Punggonl end to do some crabbing...
Long time nv do crabbing liao...
Furthermore.. oso nv come here to do surfcasting le...
So hope today is a good day...
Reach dere... no ppl...
meaning.. all the fishes is MINE...
lolx...haha...
Crab trap was effective...
jus a while... land 3 big flower crab...
1 was as big as last time..
Luck was good...
but not for mi big rod...
no movement at all...
mi bro was playing wif the tamban jig...
not much tambans here today...
however.. once a while..
he manage to land a full hse of tamban...
The long big eye and mouth fish are huge!!!
Mi bro caught quite alot...
later on.. a group of malay came...
thy oso nv caught anything..
mi bro saw he hook a big crab...
however.. when reeling up... the crab drop...
no fish bitting... no crab bitting too...
i caught a weird crab... nc see before...
the eye long long.. like antenna...
body red red colour.. nice looking...
Around 4pm.. pack up and leave...
cos mi bro keep asking to leave...
he kana sunburn!!!

Third Boat trip...
Organise by Freddie...
Raymond was going too...
Raymond fetch mi at bus-stop at 8.30am...
Reach Punggonl Marina and headed for the boat...
Freddie will be late..
In fact.. everyone will be late...
set off around 10am...
rather late...
i noe most of them dere... lolx...
friendly buggers...
Started fishing at a nearby spot..
so call grouper spot... near changi boadwalk...
Freddie and Raymond caught a palm size grouper..
i wasnt having luck...
No catch at the moment...
Change spot...
Freddie wife caught a nice ACK...
see her fight the fish!!
so nice lor...
still nothing...
Went to reclaim land.. much further...
Some ppl doing netting...
Quiet...
Suddenly.. got catch...
Freddie wife caught a nurse shark...
first time saw a nurse shark...
quite nice looking...
Freddie was sleeping...
spent around 2-3 hrs here..
but i caught nothing...
change another spot...
Ang Kuay and Ang Goli spot...
hmmm....
i like this place....
Raymond caught the first ang kuay...
Freddie wife caught 3 small ang goli..
Omg... is so nice...

etc etc.. but is a nice listening to them..
so interesting and fun...

Bedok Jetty
Meet shawn at 10am bjt...
Darling follow mi...
Jetty was quite crowded....
and is HUGE and spacious...
This is wad i call a fishing jetty...
lolx... haha...
I use prawns and appollo rigs...
hmmm seem not effective...
Heard a reel scream....
Caught something le...
Fight the fish...
all waiting for th fish to surface...
A HUGE QUEENIE wor....
Use a gaff to pull it up....
at least 2kg....
impressed mi and motivated mi!!!!!
use dead tambans instead of prawns...
heard the queenie was land on bottom rigs...
so i change to long appollo rigs...
thn started to jigs for tambans...
seem veri little at the start....
when the school came in...
whole jetty was having fun jigging tamban...
i manage to land full house!!
Cos jus buy a new tamban hook from a malay guy
but his tamban hook is good kk!!!!
Darling oso had fun jigging...
but... oso keep entangled the tamban hooks...
haiz... have to spend some time unentangled them!!!
arrggg.. so irriating lor!!!
cos alot of time...

Started to rain... cover bags wif ground sheet...

Ubin recee trip...
Meet some SP FK to do some light baiting and luring...
Meet at Changi village at 10am....
I dun do luring...
so buy 2 packets of sarong worm...
Reach Ubin.. Rent bicycles...
IceBomb jus learn how to cycle...
We have have to cross some river during low tide...
else have to swim across the river....
lolx... jus kidding la....
Cross the river....
lucky wear slipper...
cos someone wearing shoe...
Omg lor..
Reach first spot...Fish pond
Lots of small fishes...
thy do luring... but no takes
thn aim for 1 huge mud skipper....
Reach second spot... Fish pond 2
same situation...
decided to move on..
i guess is low tides... have to wait for high tides...
high tides... the place is good....
Kbl, grouper... ideal place...
Change spot to a pond...
Alot of small tailipia fishes...
thn i explore around..
saw a huge mud crab..
wanted to catch it...
but mi hand empty...
by the time i found a stick...
too late le...
ran away!!!!!!!

i remember i came here during mi first boat trip...

Decided to head back to jetty to have lunch...

We continue our recee trip..

Went to another spot...
hmmm... nice place...
saw alot of live prawns...
went to borrow a net...
bloody hell..
so unfriendly...

Change spot...to the open sea...
went dere in the morning when low tide...
and is reali reali low lor......
around 50m away in the morning....
We return... saw water jus 2m away...
some more is a river mouth...
BEST spot liao...
i cast.... straight away got pull...
but i reel in.. nothing..
baits gone...
Cast away... haven put properly....
the rod bend forward so much...
shld had release the drag...
i think the fish throw hook cos too tight le..
sad... lost a biggie...
continue to cast....
was rewarded wif a small fish...
A Kelong Chi...
No more sarong...
decided to head back to singapore...
Conclusion...
Was much better thn the previous Ubin trip...
Definitely will return to get biggie...

but reel back a bit heavy!!!
later on.. saw a Kaci...
around 600grams to 1kg???
No fight at all!!!
Suddenly...
Raymond caught 1 ACK around 1kg...
big sehz...
Ah Chong oso caught a Chermin!!

Plus Cuttlefish Frenzy...
keep getting Cuttlefish...
At such good timing...

Changi Carpark 5 12-06-2006
Meet my darling to go changi to do some fishing...
Actually oso meet mi another FK and oso SP frenz to do some surfcasting...
cos earlier on... we saw CR on changi carpark kana 1one 20kg stingray!!!
Tempted... so went dere to try our luck...
XXX(forget his name) bought prawns and i bought sarong worms...
went dere... some 1 indian and 1 malay guys at bus stop...
friendly buggers...
started conversation wif us first...
he came ytd oso...
today oso come... cos ytd chermins school came...
1 uncle caught 3 chermins!!
so thy oso tempted..
came again...
found a good spot...
started fishing....
u noe y a good spot???
cos beside the bus stop!!!
best shelter..
rain shine no fear!!!
haha....
Weather veri hot....
i oso cast the tamban jig wif some baits...
later mi darling reel back... she saw something at the hooks!!
lolx... like tat oso can caught 1...
found out to be a baby long nose emperor!!!
get some water to put the fish in...
so easy kana...
cast again... no more such luck...
main rod bring back alot of seaweed!!
actually alot of seaweed is good...
this shows that the seabed is healthy...

Went fishing wif brandon....
Long time nv fish wif him le...
Not a good start...
reach punggonl end...
raining so heavy... waited 30min for rain to stop!!!!
thn proceed to the usual spot...
set up main gears for biggies...
thn set up tamban jigs for small fish...
no tambans...
put some baits...
manages to caught quite some glass fish!!!
Later on... a box of glass fish..
lolx... thy can survived!!!
whereas brand cant even catch 1 glass fish!!!
wad the hack!!!!
reel in mi main rod... struck???
first time sia!!!
pull back something happen...
haha...a catfish... but almost dead..
the force to pull out from the struck earlier on???

later... started to rain!!!
set up a small shelter...
found a fishing rod...
but the rings broke le...
i swing so hard!!! the 2nd piece flew off and fell into the water!!!
